Manufacturer's reps have the advantage of long term relationships and trust.  We endevor to establish a working relationship with strong knowledge of our customers needs and concerns.  These principles enable manufacturer's representatives to maintain the confidence of our customers and thereby earning opportunities for new product placements and product line expansion.

Sometimes opportunity comes from being in the right place at the right time.  Having multiple, brand name product lines, manufacturers reps have more reasons to visit and hence more chances of being there when a new opportunity presents itself.  Combined with an established trust and knowledge of the distributor, manufacturer's reps can seize the moment more often.
